“This was our first time working with Entek. The salesperson who came to our home was very knowledgeable and we didn't feel "pressured" to make a decision quickly like another company did. We received 4 bids to replace our gas furnace and central A/C and Entek was in line with 3 of them. We chose Entek because we appreciated the fact that they came in to pre-walk the job prior to installation so that the person doing the install knew what he was up against. We were thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship and the installation. And we are very happy with the system. It is so much quieter than our old one.”
“Big thank you to Jody and Tarren. During the ice storm and snow our heat pump was covering in ice and indoor temperature was dropping. A quick call to Entek, and Jody walked us through the switching to the EmHeat function to save our heat pump from damage and got us a quick appointment with Tarren to do it's annual maintenance to check for any damage. Tarren came and did a complete check of the system with thankfully no damage done. He is an amazing technician, very thorough and is always so kind in answering all of our questions. Instead of just stating the problem he fully explains how it works and things that we need to watch for or can do to prevent any issues. “Come this heating season I started having respiratory symptoms that seemed to correspond to a severe allergy. After having the symptoms (nasty cough, runny nose and burning eyes) for almost 3 weeks, I suspected there was an issue with the indoor air quality and contacted Entek. Jeremy and an associate came out the same day and did an external inspection of the HVAC system but could not find anything amiss but promised to send someone out the following week for a closer look. Ivo and Dennis came out and did a thorough examination of the inside of the HVAC system. In a hidden and inaccessible location of the fresh air duct work which extends to the roof, they discovered a hidden manual damper set to the closed position, defeating the fresh air HVAC intake mandated by code. I wager that most HVAC personnel would never have discovered this issue as it is so against all logic to have put a manual damper in such a location. .Kudos to Ivo and Dennis for a job well done!”
